What is POCA?

POCA is a podcast app that uses AI to convert news articles into audio. You can listen to news and articles with natural-sounding voices without having to read.

How do I get started?

Simply open the app and select an episode you want to listen to. No login is required to browse and listen to content. Login is only needed if you want to save favorite episodes or sync across devices.

Why isn't the audio playing?

Please check:

• Your internet connection
• That your device volume is not muted
• Try closing and reopening the app

Can I listen with the screen off?

Yes! POCA supports background playback. Just press play and lock your screen or switch to another app. Audio will continue playing and you can control playback from the lock screen.

How do I change playback speed?

In the player screen, tap the speed button (1x) to select speeds from 0.5x to 2x.

How do I set a sleep timer?

In the player screen, tap the moon icon to set a sleep timer from 5 to 90 minutes.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use encryption and store data on trusted cloud platforms. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings > scroll to "Danger Zone" > tap "Delete account and data". This will permanently delete all your data from our servers. You can also contact support for assistance.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Go to your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > POCA > Cancel Subscription.
